Buying your bike from usBuying your bike from us

Please note that to buy a Trek or Gary Fisher cycle you must be able to visit the shop in person.
“Trek Bicycle Corporation does not authorize our retailers to sell new or used Trek product over the internet or by mail order. Delivery should only be made to you at an authorized Trek retail location. This is for your safety. We want to make sure that your bicycle is properly assembled, properly adjusted, and is the right size for you. We also want to make sure that you receive your owner’s manual and consumer literature. Your dealer will also explain how to properly use your bike and answer any questions or concerns you may have.”

We think this is a good policy, for it means that you will receive good advice about the bike that's right for you, and take home an expertly serviced bike. Every bike we sell is not only fully assembled but serviced to a very high standard. As an illustration, we even remove the tyres and inner tubes so the wheels are properly dished and trued.
We also offer excellent after sales service, to include a second free service 6-8 weeks after the purchase of the bike.
This standard of service and peace of mind is all included in the price of the bike, and is not something that can be matched by mail order or internet sales.

Style: The Madone 3.1 WSD is amazing value. Class leading OCLV technology results in a frame that exceeds even aerospace strength standards. It gives the 3.1 C a world-class carbon frame with brilliant handling and performance at a great price, perfect for the discriminating sport-level rider.

WSD is Women's Specific Design:
It’s Trek’s approach to making the perfect ride, by making a better fitting bike, right from the start. There’s no magic recipe that makes a bike better for a woman - just attention to every single detail. The right saddle. The right reach, bar height, and bar width. The right suspension setup for the average woman, not just the average rider. The right geometry for a better ride, right out the shop door. Your perfect ride starts here.

Highlights:
- New 6 Series-inspired frame offers carbon performance and road-smoothing comfort. It's the same frame as that of the 3.5 which has garnered high praise (e.g. see Cycling Plus review on Bike Radar).
- Incredible value - Trek's least expensive Madone ever
- OCLV is Trek's patented carbon production process. Optimum Compaction (OC) means the carbon material is densely compressed, achieving the optimal fibre-to-resin ratio to maximize strength and minimize weight. Low Void (LV) means the carbon has almost no microscopic gaps between carbon layers, achieving a strength that exceeds even aerospace standards.
- E2: A fork has two competing directives, to provide lateral rigidity for precision cornering, and to offer vertical compliance to absorb road imperfections. Trek's E2 asymmetric fork/steering tube is the first steerer specifically shaped to manage both. It gives better comfort and better handling.
- Tapered headtube: The Bontrager E2 fork tapers from a 1.5" lower bearing to a 1 1/8" upper bearing. The larger-diameter lower bearing keeps the E2 fork stiffer under cornering loads and distributes forces more evenly, increasing the life of the bearings. Result: a more confident and durable ride.
- BB86.5 bottom bracket improves pedalling performance for exhilarating acceleration
- H3 geometry: H3 increases head tube height a bit beyond Trek's performance H2 fit, with a slight geometry adjustment to increase the bike’s stability. Perfect for those who need a back-saving, neck-saving, more upright position, but still want pro-level performance and a pro look. No high-rise stems or huge stack of spacers. Fast, strong, and the perfect choice when comfort trumps aero.
- SpeedTrap compatible for seamless electronics integration

Three-week Grand Tours are Madone's testing ground. And Madone aces the tests. Just look at all the yellow jerseys it has hanging on the wall. More comfortable, more responsive, better handling and lighter - it's the right formula for elite Tour riders, and the right formula for you, no matter your size, shape, or ability.

There's a mountain just outside Nice, France where greatness is tested. The Col de la Madone. It's not the steepest, or the longest, or the hardest climb. It's Lance's climb. When he wanted to test his fitness, he came here. 12km. All out. Greatness came from this mountain. And it's why Trek named their best road bikes after it.
