Terms and Conditions
- Making your Payment
- We accept payment by personal cheque, credit card and debit card. Your card will not be charged until the goods are ready for dispatch.
Cheques should be made payable to Ken Ellerker Cycles. Goods purchased in this way will be dispatched once the cheque has passed through clearing.
If you wish to order an item that we do not normally stock, we require a 25% non-refundable deposit.

- Shipping and Handling
- UK only. Delivery charges:
- Cycles: £20.00 (extra charges will apply to parts of Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Wight)
- Frames and forks: £7.00
- Accessories, clothing and components: £4.00 per order
Delivery for orders from more than one category will be charged at the higher rate (e.g. a cycle and an item of clothing is £20.00).
Our aim is to send the goods as quickly as possible. Orders placed before 1pm on weekdays, provided the item(s) are in stock, will usually be sent the same day.
We send most goods by Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery or by overnight courier. Thus expected delivery would be the next day, though this can not be guaranteed (especially on orders received on Fridays, as the courier service does not deliver on Saturdays).
For out of stock items, and during busy periods, deliveries may take longer.
Since we use recorded post and courier services, if there will not be anyone at the cardholder address to sign for the parcel, then please enter an alternative delivery address.

- All prices quoted on this website include VAT at the revised UK rate of 17.5%.

- Back Orders
- We will notify you of any products temporarily out of stock, and in this event you will be under no obligation to proceed with the purchase of those items. You may decide to remove the items from your order or keep them on “back order”. We will advise you when such items are likely to become available.
- If you wish to complain
- Please contact us through the contacts page or phone us. In the event of a genuine complaint we will do our utmost to resolve the problem.
- Returns
- We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with a product, please contact us.
We will replace or refund any item provided that it is returned in an unused and saleable condition in its original packaging.
We will replace or refund faulty goods only upon our inspection and agreement that the item is faulty. The customer is liable for the costs of returning the item and for the delivery of the replacement item where applicable.
Please remember to include a copy of your original sales receipt.
- Price and Availability
- Some prices given on our website may be cheaper than you will find in store. If you find this is the case just mention our website price and we'll match it.
Finally, please bear in mind that Ken Ellerker Cycles is a shop, not a large multinational conglomerate with unlimited resources. Thus, though we try to keep the website as up to date as we can, prices and availability may vary from shown. We will contact you if we have a problem with your order in this regard.
