Rallon was forged on the racecourse and is the obvious choice of Orbea's EWS race team, but Rallon is always ready for fun outside of the tape and loves fast laps with friends, high-5s and near misses. The fearless Rallon is up for hitting the biggest gaps in the park, smashing berms, and scorning braking bumps. Forget limits, forget distractions, just focus on fast.

Enduro racing has evolved with more aggressive tracks and the Rallon has evolved too. Longer and slacker than ever, Rallon also has more standover to give more choice over frame sizing and to work with longer dropper posts. Totally revised suspension kinematics give a more progressive suspension curve which, combined with 160mm of rear travel is hard to beat; fast and agile in the turns with plenty of control and traction in the rough. Add the beefy Fox 38 fork and Rallon is ready for whatever you have in mind.

Highlights
- Low standover: Steep and deep means more control and more choice on frame sizing.
- Head angle: 64 or 64.5 degrees is slack enough for the toughest courses without compromising agility.
- BB Drop: An extra 3mm drop gives great stability and you will be amazed at how it corners.
- Reach: Increased reach really helps to increase stability when descending at speed.
- Chainstays: 5mm longer for increased stability at speed without compromising maneuverability.
- Steep seat angle: Great pedaling position and works well with long travel droppers.
- Adjustable: Low/Slack or Lower/Slacker.
- Mullet compatibility: 29" or 27.5" rear wheel.
- All-new OMR Monocoque Carbon Frame.
- LOCKR frame storage: Leave your pack at home and just focus on fast! Rallon is packed with clever storage spaces for all the essential tools and water you need for shorter rides or enduro races. Packless runs are fast and fun.
- Fox 38 Float Performance 170mm forks
- Fox Float X Performance rear shock
- RaceFace AR wheelset and Maxxis Assegai/Minion DHR II 3C MaxxTerra TLR tyres with EXO+ protection
- Shimano SLX drivetrain
- Shimano SLX 4-piston brakes

Details
Steep and Deep
When things get steep you want to drop your saddle deep out of the way and just focus on fast! More space to move your body means more control and more control means more speed. But low saddles mean long droppers which need short seat tubes. The trick is achieving this without affecting either seat post insertion or frame geometry.
With its steep seat tube and deep insertion Rallon has one of the lowest standovers around, meaning lots of space for your choice of long travel dropper posts. Get that saddle right out of the way when things get steep and deep, long travel droppers are the only way.

More sizing options
Rallon is available in four sizes: S, M, L and XL. However with one of the shortest seat posts around you can pick between sizes to get your preferred reach. Rallon is designed to work with a long travel dropper post, so choose a larger size to maximise stability, or go with a smaller size for a more playful Rallon.

Party out back?
Interested in sporting a mullet with your new Rallon? Choose 27.5" or 29" rear wheels without affecting geometry using the two included shock extenders. Focus on fast with 29" or focus on fun with 27.5", whatever you choose the Rallon has you covered.
Mullet Setting29-Mullet
27.5" in the back helps Rallon slap turns and maximises manoeuvrability in the air. The extra space at the back also comes in really useful on the steepest descents. If you are more interested in smiles than lap times and are more likely to pop than plow then it could be the one for you. 29" maximises speed and stability. If you are racing enduro seriously, more interested in lap times than High 5's then this could be the one for you.
The most serious racers will buy a second rear wheel and use the included shock extender to choose the best Rallon for the day.

OMR Monocoque Carbon Frame
The most technologically advanced carbon construction available is used to make the most sophisticated frame possible.
Lightness: Optimised layups and fewer frame pieces reduces weight. Optimum carbon compaction allows the use of less material.
Stiffness: Single uniform structures are better optimised to resist deflection. Carbon structures are tuned to deliver maximum stiffness without adding weight.
Ride quality: Frame rigidity affects feel and grip and it is possible to have a frame which is too stiff to track the terrain efficiently. Manipulating the carbon weave allows control of the flexibility without sacrificing strength, giving a perfectly balanced front and rear triangle stiffness. Advanced technology, modelling and testing combines with the result of confidence and grip on rough cambered terrain and valuable fractions in race runs.
Reliability: Eliminating bonded areas increases strength. The lifetime warranty assures your Orbea will be a long-time companion.
Asymmetry: The left side support strengthens and stiffens a high-stress area. Instead of using a less-efficient "shock tunnel" the Rallon design offsets the shock 12mm to the right side of the frame, allowing the asymmetrical support to follow a more direct path. This straight line that closely follows the shock mounting is the most efficient way to neutralise suspension forces on the front triangle.

Advanced Dynamics
At the heart of every Orbea full suspension bike, Advanced Dynamics is a computer based modelling process that enables the virtual testing of suspension designs through the simulation of a rider and the forces they exert on the pedals, saddle and handlebar. This priceless data feeds into real world testing and the development of sophisticated, high performance suspension platforms.

Gravity orientated kinematics
Rallon loves it when it turns nasty. With 160mm of gravity tuned suspension it specialises in finding grip on the trickiest of tracks, nailing rock gardens without loosing speed and swallowing the biggest hits effortlessly. It does all this but still climbs efficiently between stages and sprints out of slow corners like a rocket.

Progressive suspension
A high starting leverage rate gives a plush and active feel combined with terrific traction. A progressive curve controls the bike in full-travel situations - the inevitable big hits that come along with pointing a capable bike down a rocky trail.

Rearward axle path
A more forward pivot point increases the backwards component of the axle path, particularly in the first part of the travel. The Rallon floats through square hits with ease, maintaining speed and minimising fatigue.

Concentric Boost 2
The successful concentric pivot assembly at the rear axle has been updated with fewer parts for reduced weight. Concentric Boost 2:
- Saves the weight of complex yokes and additional pivot axles and hardware
- As the pivot axle is also the hub axle, maintenance is incredibly easy
- The rear axle pivot increases system stiffness and precision
- Enduro Max Black Oxide bearings give unmatched durability and small bump sensitivity
- The rear pivot location decouples braking forces from the swingarm assembly, reducing braking feedback in the suspension

Pure Enduro Geometry
In a nutshell, Rallon has everything you want: a slack head angle, long cockpit, long wheelbase, steep seat angle, low bottom bracket, short chainstays, plus adjustable geometry.
Trail Geometry

Focus on fast
Racing is focus and you don't need to be distracted by the noise your bike is making. The only noise you want to hear is the crowd cheering. The Rallon uses custom co-moulded plastic protectors to shield the frame from impacts and remove chain noise.

LOCKR storage
In the downtube LOCKR zone are two sealed bags suitable for a tube, tyre levers and two C02 cartridges. Additionally the main pivot and rear axle are filled with cleverly designed tools, held securely with magnets. With a tube, tyre repair, tube, hex keys from 3 to 6mm and a T25, all held securely in space, Rallon is fully equipped.
