Description
Corsa N.EXT is the exciting new addition to the Corsa family. Designed to satisfy the requirements of enthusiast cyclists who clock up the miles on long and demanding weekly rides, Corsa N.EXT combines Vittoria's peerless knowledge of racing performance with the durability of a long-lasting nylon casing that uses a unique Silica and Graphene compound for improved rolling efficiency, grip and longer wear-life. To increase puncture protection, the central section of the casing features 3 layers of nylon as well as an additional puncture protection belt.

Racing inspired speed and feel, with the everyday durability of nylon construction

- New combination of Silica and Graphene compound for improved rolling efficiency, grip and longer wear-life
- Nylon casing provides durability, for daily racers who want to raise the bar of their performance relying on a long-lasting tyre
- Proven tread design used by Vittoria teams in the World Tour

Details
- Supple yet durable 100 TPI nylon casing: Nylon is a robust and durable artificial fibre traditionally used for strong tyre casings. Nylon threads are thicker than cotton ones, so casings have a lower number of threads per inch. The advantages of nylon casings is that they are strong and durable, extending the wear life of the casing.
- Vittoria's top-of-the-range road tyres use a protection belt placed in between the tyre tread and the tyre casing. The belt prevents foreign bodies to cut and puncture the casing. It covers the central part of the casing, as this is where the tread is used more often and where it is more likely to get punctures.
Corsa N.EXT uses an additional layer covering the tyre beads. This layer prevents tyre cuts at the bead level and enhances air retention for tubeless use.
- 2C Graphene 2.0 rubber: proprietary mix of 2 different Graphene compounds plus Silica.
Joining its already proven Graphene research-applied knowledge with Silica, a material which specifically improves road tyre performance in the centre of the tread, Vittoria has reached an even better result in compound technology. As part of Vittoria's ultimate product development, the new Corsa N.EXT has been designed with this specific compound technology. Silica, added to Graphene, boosts the tyre performance and consistently provides longer mileage and grip. Furthermore, this new compound combination reduces tyre weight and increases the performance gains. Vittoria's lab tests have proven the new combination of Graphene and Silica to provide following performance gains, compared to a normal compound:
+9% in speed/rolling performance
+32% in grip
+21% in puncture resistance
Longer mileage and tyre's wear life

- TLR construction offers the ultimate puncture protection and speed. It uses a robust new bead material called Zylon for optimal air retention. Tubeless-ready set up is the lightest and fastest casing option.
- Weight: 270/330/355g (26/28/30c)
- Manufacturer part numbers: 11A00399, 11A00400, 11A00401

Corsa N.EXT is the first road racing tyre to feature a QR Code - printed on the tyre hot patch - for easy access to useful technical information about the tyre.

Specifications

Vittoria Corsa N.Ext tyre review, road.cc , September 2022:
"The Vittoria Corsa N.Ext tyres are a durable yet fast-rolling option that grip harder than you might expect. They're lighter than the regular Corsa Control tyres and come at a cheaper price point than many of their rivals, the result of which places them firmly among the best road bike tyres out there.

According to Vittoria, the Corsa N.Ext was designed for the everyday rider and to fill the gap between the Pro Competition and Advanced Training tyre categories. I've been testing them for the past 2,800km in a variety of settings and conditions, and I'm impressed.

While they're not as fast as their corespun Corsa siblings, the Corsa N.Exts still roll impressively well, and they grip like limpets in the corners. The big talking point here, though, is what they offer when it comes to puncture resistance and tyre wear, which could be more valuable attributes than outright speed to the average rider.

Overall, the Vittoria Corsa N.Ext tyres are just as fast as their chief rivals and possess one of the best puncture-resistant casings on the market. If you're looking for a tyre that can double up for use as both a training and racing option, you can't go wrong here."

Verdict
Fast-rolling performance tyre with the protection levels to match
