| Description | The e-bike version of the Vittoria Mazza raises the bar on e-Enduro performance for mixed terrain! Starting with a defined centre tread, the e-Mazza uses deep siping in the direction of rotation, allowing the tyre to roll fast while still opposing drift. The stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp, but digs in on climbs, making e-Mazza a top choice for both front and rear use. Substantial room was designed into the centre tread to provide braking traction, while also accelerating cleaning. Cornering on the e-Mazza is handled by Vittoria's trademark progressive sipe width technology, which gives a gummy inside effective edge, but without the instability that competitors experience on the outside of the tread. e-Mazza's generous tread depth claws into a range of terrain, and is stabilised with Vittoria's proprietary 4C compound layering process. Four separate Graphene 2.0 compounds are layered, allowing the surface of the tread to remain tacky, while the base remains planted. The anti-puncture belt below the tread and the sidewall protection provide stability, cut and puncture protection. In addition, the Anti-Pinch Flat insert contributes to even more safety by further improving sidewall support.  4 compounds (4C): Enduro and Trail riding demands confidence. This means that tyres must provide the ultimate grip, while being durable enough to withstand higher speeds and impacts. Vittoria has developed these four individual 4C Graphene compounds to exceed these measures of performance. The centre tread area uses two separate Graphene compounds; one at the base, and one at the surface. The base compound provides a stable foundation for climbing and braking loads, while providing protection from pinch flats and punctures. The surface compound is formulated to deliver high-grip climbing and braking traction in both wet and dry conditions. The shoulder area of the tread also uses two separate Graphene compounds; one at the base, and one at the surface. The base compound resists folding, even with the deeper tread profiles, which provides a stable foundation for cornering loads, and extends wear life. The surface compound does the work in high speed cornering. With a soft feel and sticky texture, 4C Graphene tyres exceed expectations over wet rocks and roots, as well as in dry/mixed conditions. In the most demanding terrain, Graphene 4C compounds maximise traction and control, while minimising abrasion and wear.  |
