Still equipped for any trail, Rail Race has added lens vents and laser etching around the rimless lens design. With its rimless shield frame, Rail Race offers top-notch protection for your eyes from UV rays and debris while still allowing you maximum airflow. Whether racing on a bike path or pedalling through pine forests, Rail Race will keep things cool and comfortable! The frame is made of Grilamid TR-90, a homopolyamide nylon characterised by a high strength, low density, and high resistance to chemical and UV damage. Tifosi's Clarion Mirror lenses feature a hydrophobic coating that repels water and sweat to help prevent moisture from gathering on the lens, increasing visibility and preventing distortion. But, with that big of a shield, fogging can happen. To combat that and add a little more durability to the lenses, Tifosi launched their limited-edition Rail Race sunglasses. It's pretty obvious that the major difference between the Rail Race and the Rail are the four lens vents. But, you also get laser-etched edges of the huge lenses. Not only does the etching add a little extra style, but it also helps reduce damage on the most susceptible areas of the lens. You might think you can see the etched edges, but they aren't noticeable when wearing them." I do wish they had a Fototec lens option, but I'd venture to guess it's only a matter of time. These large lenses provide tons of coverage and protection in a lightweight, comfortable package. |
