Enough Power
This is a completely integrated system which brings together power, range and interface to deliver a natural ride with nearly silent, unobtrusive assistance. It took hundreds of hours of testing to find the sweet spot, giving the most natural ride and maximising range.

Natural Assistance
Power delivery peaks between 75 and 95rpm, your most efficient cadence. As you deliver more, the motor mirrors your efforts, feeling alive, responsive and natural.

Frictionless Pedalling
At higher speeds Gain's performance shines through. The motor cuts out almost imperceptibly, leaving only natural pedalling with no added friction.

Mahle X20 Motor
The Mahle X20 motor is one of the lightest, most compact e-bike drive system on the market. 65Nm of nearly silent, frictionless assistance gives more than enough power for even the toughest climbs, all with a total system weight of 3.2kg including the 350W battery. The advanced sensors are critical, giving more control and an even more natural feel.

Clearance for 35mm tyres means that Gain matches your vision of e-road, even if that goes further than tarmac and onto some gravel.

A Better Battery
The battery is one of the most noticeable components of an eBike system, so every step has been taken to find the lightest, smallest, and most discreet unit. The Secure Battery System allows the fitment of a bigger battery in a smaller space. Investing the weight savings we made with the new Gain in a bigger battery allows us to increase the range and reduce the overall weight simultaneously. The 350Wh battery, one of the largest in this category, combined with our 1.5 factor (helped by Gain's lower power consumption) gives more range that ever. That means you can pretty much forget about the battery level unless you plan on climbing more than 4000 metres.

Optional Range Extender
Although you will almost certainly never need it the 171 Wh Range Extender slips neatly and securely into the water bottle holder. The beauty of the modular battery solution is that for all those rides where you don't need that extra range, you can leave the weight at home.

Remove distractions
Riding bikes should be an escape from screens, a pure experience without distractions. At a glance, Gain's interface tells you everything you need to know and nothing more. Say no to distractions and "innovations" that only distance you from the experience; that is not what GAIN is all about.

Sleek, subtle and fully integrated into the top tube, the Mahle head unit offers a wealth of information and control. Here you can find basic information such as assistance level, remaining battery and the status of your lights, or for more details use the inbuilt BT and ANT+ connectivity to connect to an external device.
The practicality and simplicity of the system, doesn't finish there. e-Shifters are postioned ergonomically on the handlebar, so you can select you assistance level in a safer and easier way without moving your hands. There are three assistance levels available to choose from.

Track every detail: system info, route data, rider power output, and cadence—all displayed on the Pulsar One screen and recorded via the app, your smart watch or your bike computer. Analyse your performance and ride smarter.

Integrations to make life easier
Gain is safer and more functional with fully integrated front and rear lights that announce your presence day and night. The built-in light sensor automatically switches Gain's inbuilt lights on and off.

Cables are carefully guided along the best path under the stem and through the head tube, with no rub or rattle, and are optimised for both traditional and electronic shifting systems.

The seatpost clamp of each Gain is integrated smoothly into the frame, decreasing the likelihood of contamination and increasing aerodynamics. It looks great too!

Automatic motor connection
With Gain, removing and refitting your rear wheel has never been so easy. There are no more fiddly connections for the motor; instead the motor automatically connects when you insert the wheel.
